Sabudana Kheer | Sabudana Payasam | Sago Pudding

Sabudana is mainly used to cook fasting recipes in India. I have already shared the recipe of
sabudana khichdi. “Sabudana kheer” is made from tapioca pearls (sago) and combined with milk
and nuts. It is a festive dessert recipe is made during fasting. It is ready in minutes apart from the time
needed to soak the sabudana.

“Besan Bhindi” or Besan wali bhindi or Besan Okra Stir Fry is a mouthwatering dish for all bhindi/okra lovers. Since at my home we have couple of Okra lovers, me and my son, I make bhindi quite often. This recipe comes from my MIL and is my to go when I need a beautiful looking and delicious recipe to entertain guests.

“Aloo Samosa | Punjabi Aloo Samosa” is one street food which takes toll on all other street foods in Northern parts of India. It may be eaten for breakfast or as an evening snack. It is so popular in U.P. that on every street you can find at least one “samosa wala”. For wider audience, it is a deep fried snack with a savoury filling like potatoes, paneer, vegetables or green peas.
